Check fields, rows and correction time. Illustrative workflow.

Start with the output you need, then decide how much automation belongs around it.

Nanonets offers Document Intelligence for extraction and a broader AI agent platform for business processes. Its document product describes classification, splitting, field confidence and review. This comparison focuses on the document-to-data task.

Dynamite Docs gives you a workspace for checking extracted fields and tables before export. It is worth testing when your main problem is copying data from changing document layouts and the next business decision already happens elsewhere.

Test your document. Review a real file before choosing a plan. Check the source, the rows and the exported result.

Choose by the work you need to finish

The fit judgments below are our assessment of the published capabilities. Validate them with your own documents and required integrations.

Choose a defined review and export task

Use Dynamite Docs to work toward an agreed set of columns, check values against the file and pass the result to a spreadsheet or API consumer. You can connect your own AI provider key on every plan.

Evaluate Nanonets for wider process automation

Nanonets describes agents for accounts payable, reconciliation and order management. If those actions are part of the purchase, test them alongside document capture rather than comparing extraction alone.

Compare price, usage units and included work

USD pricing as of October 9, 2026. Monthly and annual billing are shown separately. A page, document credit and workflow block are different units. These entry plans do not establish equivalent capacity or total cost.

NanonetsStarter: $50 introductory credits, then $100/month for 100 creditsWorkflow blocks, priced by operation and complexityPublished per-run rates are $0.02 for simple operations, $0.10 for standard AI and $0.30 for complex AI. Confirm all blocks, reruns and document scope in your quote.

Check all Dynamite Docs prices and limits. Successfully processed hosted and local no-AI pages use one PE each; failed pages cost zero. Free and Starter own-key runs use the same allowance; Pro and Ultra own-key runs cost zero PE. Monthly caps are hard. Provider and file-size limits still apply.

Plan a migration test before switching

Keep document extraction separate from agent actions

Create a reference result for a mixed batch of invoices and statements. Specify whether each source file contains one document or several. Test classification and splitting separately from extraction, because assigning a correct value to the wrong business record can be as harmful as reading the value incorrectly.

Record which steps merely prepare data and which steps change another system. If the workflow reconciles an account, updates an order or posts an invoice, test permissions, exception handling and duplicate prevention for those actions. Dynamite Docs can prepare and deliver reviewed data, but it does not reproduce a business agent workflow automatically.

Estimate costs from the workflow you actually run

Build a cost sheet from the configured operations, their run counts and the quoted block rates. Ask what happens when a file is split, validation runs again or an integration retries. Do not treat 100 credits as 100 pages or assume a single extraction rate covers every step. Keep trial credits separate from the recurring budget.

For Dynamite Docs, count successfully processed hosted pages against PE and include the provider bill when using your own key. Pro and Ultra own-key processing costs zero PE, but the provider still charges your account. Compare the cost of reaching a checked result, including the time spent correcting fields and reconnecting downstream actions.

Run a comparison with your own files

  1. 1. Define one output contract. Write down required field names, table columns and how missing values should appear. Use that same contract when reviewing each product.
  2. 2. Test a mixed batch deliberately. Include separate invoices and statements, plus a file containing several documents. Check whether you need to split the file before processing and whether rows remain attached to the right source.
  3. 3. Check the action after extraction. Try the actual import or API request that consumes the result. Record any transformation, approval or reconciliation work still required.

Choose the model account for your extraction workflow

Use included hosted processing, connect your own AI provider keys, or run model inference through the Ollama companion on Hobby, Pro and Ultra. Compare provider terms, model quality and the complete data path for the documents you process.

Each successfully processed hosted page costs one PE. Free and Hobby provider-key runs use the monthly PE allowance; Pro and Ultra provider-key runs cost zero PE. Your provider bills your account directly with zero markup.

Local Ollama inference runs on your computer; account and workspace features remain hosted.

  • Hosted: Predictable allowances with hard caps and no surprise overages.
  • Provider key (BYOK): Connect your own AI account for unlimited runs on Pro and Ultra.
  • Local Ollama: Run model inference on your computer. Account and workspace features remain hosted.
  • Custom endpoint: Connect any OpenAI-compatible model endpoint to the same review flow.

Compare hosted, own-key, custom and local AI routes.

Extraction is one part of the business process

Dynamite Docs prepares document data for the next system. Budget for the steps that system still needs to perform.

  • It does not provide autonomous reconciliation or order management agents.
  • Do not assume combined documents will be classified and split into separate business records automatically.
  • Provider API keys are different from customer-managed encryption keys. Confirm which meaning of BYOK a vendor uses.

How we maintain this comparison

Written and maintained by the Dynamite Docs team. We sell one of the products compared here. Fit recommendations are our assessment, not an independent ranking.

We reviewed the linked vendor product and pricing pages on October 9, 2026. Dynamite Docs allowances and capabilities come from our current plan definitions. We have not run a shared head-to-head accuracy, speed or cost benchmark.

Compare extraction, review, intake, delivery, deployment and total cost separately. A feature that we could not confirm remains unconfirmed. Vendor statements describe published capabilities, not results we have reproduced.

Check the quoted plan and implementation scope before purchase. We review these comparisons quarterly, with the next review due January 9, 2027, or earlier after a material product or pricing change.

Questions about nanonets alternative

Does Nanonets require a template for each vendor?

Its current Document Intelligence page describes template-free extraction without per-vendor setup. Layout flexibility alone is not a reason to assume one product will outperform the other.

Can I move a Nanonets workflow into Dynamite Docs?

There is no automatic workflow importer. Recreate the required output fields, test representative files and reconnect your destination. Keep approvals and other business actions in a system designed to run them.
