Questions about Bank Statement to Excel
Can it read scanned bank statements?
Yes. Scanned PDFs and statement images are supported. Clear pages with a consistent transaction layout produce results that need less correction.
Does it keep debit and credit columns separate?
Yes, when the statement presents them separately. If the bank uses signs, codes, or a single amount column, review the inferred transaction direction carefully.
Can I upload a password-protected statement?
Remove the password locally before upload. The browser and extraction service cannot open an encrypted statement without its password.
