Why we built it
Accountants, bookkeepers, auditors, and operations teams often move the same kinds of values from invoices, bank statements, and contracts into spreadsheets. Fixed templates add another maintenance task when a supplier changes its layout.
Dynamite Docs keeps the source file, extracted rows, field review, correction patterns, provider choice, and exports in one workspace. Teams can change providers without rebuilding the surrounding review process.
How it works
The core loop is infer → correct → remember. Digital PDFs can supply an embedded text layer before schema inference. Scanned or photographed pages need a vision-capable model. The workspace supports hosted providers, your own provider key, and local Ollama inference on eligible paid plans.
Extracted fields include confidence information for review. When you correct a value, the workspace can save a pattern for a similar layout. Review still matters because a reused pattern does not prove that the next document is correct.
Security and privacy stance
We treat documents as your data, not ours. Files are encrypted in transit and at rest, never used to train foundation models, and provider keys are stored encrypted server-side. Free files stay in your browser. Hobby, Pro, and Ultra add cloud storage.
AI settings show provider trust metadata. Policy controls can restrict provider selection by training policy or data-residency label. On Hobby, Pro, and Ultra, the Ollama companion can route model inference to a model running on your machine. Account and workspace features remain in the hosted app.
