Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Dynamite Docs website and AI document extraction service (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Dynamite Docs (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account, accessing the Service, or uploading any document, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization, and “you” refers to both you and that organization.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You must not use the Service if we have suspended or terminated your account, or if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.

3. Description of the Service

The Service extracts structured data (fields, tables, and values) from documents you upload, using a combination of deterministic parsing and AI models. It lets you review, correct, and export the results to CSV, JSON, Excel, Word, Google Sheets, and other destinations. Every plan offers bring-your-own-key (BYOK) provider connections. BYOK on Free and Hobby uses the plan PE allowance; BYOK on Pro and Ultra is unlimited. APIs, webhooks, folders, labels, full-text search, and team features depend on your plan.

4. Accounts

• You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
• You must notify us promptly at info@dynamitedocs.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

5. Your documents and data

• You must have the right to upload and process every document you submit, and you must comply with all applicable laws.
• You retain all ownership rights in your documents and the extracted data. We claim no ownership over them.
• You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and sensitivity of the documents you provide and for reviewing extraction results before relying on them.
• You grant us a limited license to process your documents as necessary to provide the Service, including sending them to third-party AI providers as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Do not upload documents that require special confidentiality protections without first enabling Sensitive Documents mode or otherwise configuring the appropriate policy controls.

6. AI processing and third-party providers

Extraction is performed by third-party AI providers. When you use our hosted keys, we select a provider based on your plan and the document type. When you connect your own keys, your documents may be sent to those providers under their terms and privacy policies. We recommend you review those providers’ policies before connecting your keys.

AI models are not perfect. Extracted data may contain errors or omissions. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of results, particularly for documents with financial or legal consequences. We make no warranty that extraction will be complete or error-free.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload, process, or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, obscene, or that violates any third party’s rights.
• Resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Service to third parties without our written consent, or use it to build a competing product.
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, quotas, access controls, or other restrictions.
• Use the Service for denial-of-service, data scraping, or any automated abuse of provider quotas.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its servers, or connected networks.
• Use the Service to process documents you do not have the legal right to process.

8. Plans, fees, and payment

The Service offers a Free tier and paid subscription plans. Monthly prices are Hobby at $13 or ₹259, Pro at $59 or ₹1,299, and Ultra at $259 or ₹5,199. The pricing page describes the limits enforced by the Service. Plan features, limits, and prices may change from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in advance where required by law.

• International subscriptions are billed in advance by Creem or PayGlocal using the payment method you provide at checkout. INR purchases through PayGlocal are prepaid one-time monthly or yearly terms unless recurring domestic billing is explicitly shown at checkout.
• All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, which may be added at checkout where required.
• Recurring monthly plans renew each month. Recurring yearly plans renew every 12 months. Both continue until cancelled. Prepaid INR terms do not renew automatically. You can manage Creem billing from its customer portal and request PayGlocal mandate cancellation through support.
• If payment fails, we may downgrade your account to the Free tier after a grace period.
• Connecting your own API keys does not change your plan fee. You remain responsible for any costs charged by your chosen providers.

9. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your paid subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and your paid plan features remain available until then. After that your account reverts to the Free tier. Refunds are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. See dynamitedocs.com/refunds for details.

10. Free tier and beta features

The Free tier is provided at no charge with the limits described in the Service. Some features may be offered as “beta” or “experimental”. Beta features are provided “as is”, may change or be removed at any time, and may not receive the same support or reliability guarantees as other features. Paid plan access and feature eligibility are enforced based on your subscription.

11. Intellectual property

As between you and us, we own the Service, its software, design, trademarks, and all related intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service except as expressly permitted. You retain ownership of your documents and extracted data. Your corrections and usage may help us improve the Service, but we will not use your documents to train foundation models.

12. Confidentiality

We will maintain the confidentiality of your documents and extracted data, and will only use them to provide the Service. We will not disclose your documents to third parties except as necessary to operate the Service or as required by law. If we receive a legal request for your data, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you before disclosure, where permitted.

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that extraction results will be accurate or complete. Extracted data may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing results before relying on them.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim or $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some limitations may not apply to you.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dynamite Docs and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in connection with (a) your documents and your use of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any rights of a third party or applicable law.

16. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, if you breach these Terms, if your use creates security or legal risk, or as required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. We will delete or anonymize your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law, will survive.

17. Force majeure

Neither party will be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, pandemics, internet or power outages, or the failure of third-party providers.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Dynamite Docs is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at info@dynamitedocs.com. If the dispute cannot be resolved within thirty (30) days, either party may pursue the remedies available under applicable law.

19. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date and, where required, notified to you by email or in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

20. Copyright and takedown

We respect the intellectual property rights of others and ask that you do the same. You may only upload or process documents you have the right to upload and process. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright (or that of someone you are authorized to represent), you may submit a takedown notice to our designated agent at info@dynamitedocs.com with the following information:

• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
• Identification of the material on the Service that is claimed to be infringing, with enough detail (such as a link or file name) for us to locate it.
• Your contact information (name, email, and if applicable, company).
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
• A physical or electronic signature.

If you believe material you uploaded was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification with similar detail. We will respond to valid notices and counter-notifications under the applicable copyright laws (including the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act), and we may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
